On Easter I headed out with Carrie to climb Ginny Mountain.  I had climbed it before in the fall, but Carrie had not been up it yet.  I'm not counting repeat climbs in my project unless they were first climbed outside of the project dates, which Ginny was.  I'm not sure if this is an official name for this peak or not.  The people at Cairn Cartographics, out of Missoula, have it on their map as Ginny, but I've never seen it labeled that on any USGS map.  But I really like the Cairn Cartographics maps so I'm going to stick with it.

We started this hike from the Crazy Canyon Trailhead.  My knee had just begun to feel better and I wanted to get up a peak for my project and also test it out a bit without getting too committed.  A nice trail leads up to the saddle between  Ginny and University Mountains.  From there we took an old trail directly to the summit.  It was so simple and so short there really isn't much to write about it.  The day was lovely and the company was great.  A nice small peak to add to the list.  I did not have my camera so the photo is from an October hike.
